Software Engineers Vulnerability Research Perform computer network exploitation: embedded reverse engineering (RE), vulnerability research (VR), and application development for software and embedded systems • Collaborate with Cyber Innovation Unit staff working multifunctional programs integrating hardware and software reverse engineering tasks  Develop software tools to support RE and VR  Support digital forensics activities Core Expectations  Provide exceptional RE and VR on embedded system firmware and software Develop specialized software/firmware modules to run on embedded hardware that communicate across native communications channels Develop software/firmware modules to implement specialized functions on embedded systems  Able to work independently and effectively, with minimal supervision, in a multi-disciplinary team environment  Able to follow standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines • Demonstrated experience disassembling and analyzing software and embedded firmware • Real-time operating experience; QNX, Embedded Linux, Embedded Windows Bachelor’s degree in , Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study, Master’s degree is a plus • demonstrable experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer Scienceemphasizing embedded system software/firmware design, reverse engineering, vulnerability research • Familiarity with microprocessors and a variety of assembly languages • Able to code in C/C++/C#/Assembly • Sole US Citizenship & active Top Secret  clearance • Exceptional communication skills TS Clearance is required
